Telling the Harbor's story

In order to tell the story of these remarkable maps, I crafted short accessible descriptions of the science behind discovering the surprising places where fish make their homes in the industrial harbor of Milwaukee. I highlighted the collaboration between scientists and artists and narrated the history of the restoration of the area’s waterways. The maps are a project of UWM's School of Freshwater Sciences.

branding a tech start-up

For tech start-up Bizwatt, I crafted a narrative about their expertise in creating practical and affordable solutions to data and process management challenges. I then adapted that narrative to be broadcast through a variety of platforms such as LinkedIn, the company website, and a postcard campaign.

Entertaining & Educating

I contribute short, humorous articles to Dictionary.com’s “Everything After Z” section. For them, I write about the history and usage of slang terms and emojis.
